It all started in 2005 prior to the African Cup of Nations qualifiers and the Black Stars first qualification in Germany, the first Supporters Group called NATIONAL SUPPORTERS UNION was formed.
The goal was to provide independent, efficient and accessible dispute resolution services to everyone involved with Ghana Supporters together with the Euphoria and momentum of the Nation to support the Nation’s pride, (The Black Stars).
Following the pursuits of the Black Stars at the World Cup in Germany 2006. In 2007, The monopoly of NATIONAL SUPPORTERS UNION was broken down and went separately whilst other Supporters were formed to continue the love for their Nation’s pride.
In the steps of the predecessor, the groups were ever present at the African Cup of Nations 2008 hosted by Ghana. The unions not only represented Ghana as a host Nation but also made sure everyone knows that they were a force to reckon with, when it come to football.
Following, in 2017 The Ghana Supporters Group was officially formed. This consolidation was facilitated and spearheaded by the then, Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah. Till date Ghana Supporters has been in active with their support for all their National Teams both Locally and International.
